Year 6 pupils from Our Lady & St Thomas Catholic Primary School, Willington, enjoyed a brilliant day at the RAF Town Show in Sunderland.
The event gave visitors the opportunity to learn more about the Royal Air Force through a range of interactive experiences and displays. Activities included RAF technology and STEM exhibits, virtual reality experiences, live demonstrations, opportunities to meet serving RAF personnel, and displays featuring RAF aircraft and equipment.
The visit provided Year 6 with an exciting opportunity to explore some of the skills, technology and careers associated with the RAF while enjoying a memorable day outside the classroom.
